On Sunday night, around 11:45 p.m., a tragic collision occurred at the intersection of West Michigan Avenue and Sun Valley Drive. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), Xabriana was driving a sedan westbound on State Road 296, also known as Michigan Avenue, when her vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with an SUV traveling eastbound. Despite the efforts of those at the scene, Xabriana sadly succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash also left the 36-year-old SUV driver from Milton and a 24-year-old male passenger from Pace with serious injuries. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment. As loved ones and members of the community process this heartbreaking news, the Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
