In Loving Memory of Dean Rasmussen

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dean Rasmussen, a beloved educator, coach, mentor, and longtime member of the Raymore-Peculiar Middle School community. For more than 25 years, Dean dedicated his life to serving students, supporting young people, and making a lasting difference in the lives of countless individuals.

Dean’s years of service from approximately 1994 through 2019 were marked by commitment, leadership, and a genuine passion for helping students grow. He was not simply a teacher and coach—he was a role model who guided, encouraged, and inspired generations of young people. His influence extended far beyond the classroom and playing field, leaving behind memories and lessons that many former students will carry throughout their lives.

Those who knew Dean remember a man who cared deeply about the success and well-being of his students.
