It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Executive Chef, Jeffrey Sullivan.

Jeff was a cherished member of the Olivadi family and a beloved part of the Norwood community. Young, loyal, and incredibly talented, he brought passion, laughter, and happiness to everyone fortunate enough to know him. His dedication to his craft and his love for cooking were evident in everything he created, and his presence brought warmth and energy to the kitchen and beyond.

Jeff was more than an exceptional chef — he was a friend, a teammate, and an important part of the family he built around him. His unmatched passion, creativity, and commitment to his work inspired those who worked alongside him and those who enjoyed the food he prepared. He had a remarkable ability to bring people together through his talent, his humor, and his genuine care for others.

His passing was unexpected, unfair, and far too soon. The loss felt by his family, friends, coworkers, and the entire Olivadi community is immeasurable. There are simply no words large enough to capture the impact Jeff had or the emptiness felt by those who loved him.

We hold Jeff’s family and loved ones close in our hearts and grieve alongside them during this incredibly difficult time. We will honor his memory by carrying his spirit into every shift, every plate prepared, every laugh shared, and every moment spent in the kitchen he loved so deeply.

Jeff deserved a lifetime of memories, accomplishments, and happiness. Though his time with us was far too short, the mark he left will last forever. His kindness, dedication, and passion will continue to inspire everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Jeffrey Sullivan will be loved and missed beyond measure. He will always remain a treasured part of the Olivadi family and will forever hold a place in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home in Canton on Monday, July 13th, from 4:00–7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 14th, at 11:00 AM, followed by burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury at noon.

In honor of Jeff, Olivadi will be closed on Tuesday, July 14th.

Rest peacefully, Chef Jeff. Your passion, your laughter, and your unforgettable spirit will live on in all of us.
