A motorcyclist was killed last week in a two-vehicle crash in Genesee County, according to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.
Motorcycle and car collide in Oakfield
The crash occurred shortly after 9:35 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, on Batavia Oakfield Townline Road in the Town of Oakfield.
Deputies said a motorcycle and a sedan collided. The cause of the crash has not been released.
Motorcyclist pronounced dead at the scene
The motorcyclist, James L. Emery, 52, of Oakfield, was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said.
The sedan was occupied by a 21-year-old Chili man who was driving and one passenger. Neither was injured in the crash.
Deputies seeking information
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the crash.
