In Loving Memory of David Gabriel “Gabe” Sadler

David Gabriel “Gabe” Sadler, 28, of Williston, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 6, 2026. Though his unexpected passing has created an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him, his loved ones find comfort and peace in knowing that Gabe is now in heaven with Jesus. They rejoice in the assurance that he is healed, free from pain, and forever surrounded by the love and grace of his Savior.

Gabe’s life was a blessing to everyone who knew him. He had a way of bringing warmth and joy into any room with his contagious smile, quick sense of humor, and genuine kindness. He was the type of person who could make others laugh even on difficult days, and his laughter and personality will remain treasured memories for those who loved him. Although his time on earth was far too short, the impact he made will continue through the many lives he touched.

Funeral services honoring Gabe’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel in Williston, South Carolina, with Reverend Jamie Wooten officiating. Burial will follow at Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m., one hour before the service, at the funeral home. Friends, family, and loved ones are invited to gather together to celebrate Gabe’s life, share memories, and offer support to those who will miss him deeply.

Born in Augusta, Georgia, Gabe was the beloved son of David Kevin Sadler and Amanda Mundy Sadler. From an early age, Gabe brought happiness and love to his family, and he grew into a man known for his loyalty, compassion, and devotion to those closest to him.

Gabe was blessed with a loving marriage to his wife, Ashlee Davis Sadler. Together, they built a family filled with love, laughter, and precious memories. Above all else, Gabe cherished being a father. His two daughters, Raelyn Grace Sadler and Harper Elizabeth Sadler, were the light of his life and his greatest source of happiness. He loved making memories with his girls, spending time with them, and watching them grow. The love he had for his daughters was evident to everyone who knew him, and the lessons, laughter, and love he gave them will remain with them forever.

Professionally, Gabe worked as a Lab Analyst at Savannah River Site, where he was respected by his coworkers for his dedication, reliability, and positive attitude. He was also a faithful member of Winfield Heights Baptist Church, where his faith was an important part of his life. His relationship with Jesus brought him strength and comfort, and his family finds peace knowing that Gabe is now resting in eternal glory.

Outside of work and church, Gabe enjoyed the simple moments that made life special. He loved spending time with his family, especially creating unforgettable memories with his daughters. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and sharing laughs with friends and loved ones. Gabe never passed up an opportunity to joke around, brighten someone’s day, or bring a smile to those around him.

A devoted sports fan, Gabe proudly cheered for the Atlanta Braves, the Green Bay Packers, and the South Carolina Gamecocks. Whether watching a game or sharing his opinions with family and friends, his passion and enthusiasm were always on display. His faithful dog, Cash, was another important part of his life and a constant companion who brought him comfort, happiness, and countless cherished moments.

Gabe leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through his wife, Ashlee Davis Sadler, and his daughters, Raelyn Grace and Harper Elizabeth. He is also survived by his parents, David Kevin Sadler and Amanda Mundy Sadler; his sister, Erica Sadler; his brothers, Ray (Chelsea) Youngblood and Kyle Sadler; his grandparents, Mary Alice (David) Barnette and Wanda Sadler; his mother-in-law, Rachael (Miles) Brant; his father-in-law, Scott (Angela) Davis; his grandparents-in-law, Nancy and Murray Davis; his brothers-in-law, Robert (Katelyn) Davis and John (Sophia) Davis; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, dear friends, and special coworkers who will forever hold his memory close.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Gordon Mundy and Lavern Sadler, who welcomed him into eternal rest.

Though Gabe’s family and friends grieve the loss of a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, they find comfort in the many beautiful memories he leaves behind. His kindness, humor, faith, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Gabe’s life was a reminder to cherish every moment, love deeply, and find joy in the people and memories that matter most. While he will be missed beyond words, his family holds onto the promise that this goodbye is not forever. Gabe is now at peace, surrounded by the everlasting love of Jesus, and his memory will remain a blessing for generations to come.
